Zenkoji Budhist Temple Inn
Zenkoji is a Budhist Temple located within walking distance of the Takayama Train Station, The Takayama Spring and Fall Festival and the “Little Kyoto” part of town.
Zenkoji temple offers rooms for budget conscious travellers looking to have a unique overnight stay experience.

The temple has a variety of rooms with tatami mats, clean futon bedding. Larger rooms for larger groups are also available.
Meditation Garden
No meals are provided, but a full public kitchen for self cooking available. There’s a grocery store accross the stree and and a supermarket 1 minute away as well. There’s also a coffee shop accross the street that serves breakfast, pasta, etc.
Western style toilets and a public shared showeroom are available.

Directions ( Only 5 minutes walking distance.)
(1)Turn to right at the first street in front of the station. South
(2)Turn to left at the 2 traffic signals. East
(3)Cross first signal ( Gas station) and go straight about 100meters, you’ll find Zenkoji on the left side.
*The tourist information center can give you directions and a map of sites to see.
